Reviewed! Every Issue of Villains Month – the final issues

6
There are no new issues of Villain's Month left from DC, and business goes back to business this week. But there were six issues which slipped through my new previously, and I've now gone...

REVIEW: John Arcudi and A.C. Zamudio’s Real West

1
I hadn't seen anything about this new series from Monkeybrain, but it appears to be an anthology of western cowboy stories featuring an assortment of different creators, each telling a short story at a...

REVIEW: John Wagner and Arthur Ranson’s Button Man

2
The Button Man series by John Wagner and Arthur Ranson is a rare creature. For a magazine designed to tell fast-paced adventures, this is a far quieter and more subdued piece of work than is...

Reviewed! Every Issue of Villains Month, Week Three

19
Week three brings a number of Batman villains to the forefront, as well as a surprising disconnect with the main Forever Evil storyline. Hardly any of the comics this week seem to have much...

Review: Mophie Juice Pack Plus

4
As past of my San Diego Comic-Con experience, I was lucky enough to be given a Mophie Juice Pack Plus to test as a back up power source for my iPhone. I always meant to get one but never had the $$ and the time to pick one up. Of course, zillions of people already have one, so I'm not spilling any secrets when I say that the Mophie made this Comic-Con a breeze compared to past ones, where finding a power outlet every six hours or so was my main goal in life.

REVIEW: Does ‘The Wolverine’ Redeem Ten Years of Awful X-Men Movies?

26
I have seen The Wolverine! And boy was he shirtless a lot. This movie was half superhero film and half ringing endorsement for babyoil products. Hugh Jackman has returned as Logan for another round,...

Image Wrestling and Whispering: Lynda Barry’s Kaleidoscopic Modus in Girlhood Through the Looking Glass

0
The swing of this year's SDCC has finally begun to wind down, and while there was inarguably no lack in the immense influx of comics/movie/merchandise-related news, there was amazingly still a capacity for SDCC...

4
It's been a while since I had a chance to properly crack into some reviews, so you're getting a bit of an all-star lineup of books up on the slate this week. First up...
