During the third annual Inksgiving event, every drop of Ink you contribute to a creator on Tapas will be counted toward an overall goal of 20 million drops. If the total goal is reached, those who contributed during the event will receive 20% of the Ink back after 30 days.
The event will begin on November 20th, 2020 at 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time and run until 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on November 22nd, 2020.
What’s Ink?
You can either buy Ink in the Tapas Ink shop, or earn it by watching videos and completing surveys. Then, you can use that Ink to Support creators, or to unlock episodes.
During the Inksgiving event, only Ink that is used to Support creators will count toward the total goal, so if you’d like to participate, you’ll need to put Ink toward Supporting one of your favorite creators, not unlocking episodes.
What’s Inksgiving?
This is the third time Tapas has held the Inksgiving event, which is geared toward highlighting the many diverse comics, voices, and creators who share their work on Tapas. The event encourages everyone in the Tapas community to Support creators by giving them Ink. And participating creators are responding with fun rewards, like extra art and Q&A sessions!
If you’re participating in the event, save your Ink until Friday, November 20th at 3:00 PM PST and use it before Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00 PM PST, since only Ink used to Support Tapas creators during that time period will count toward the overall goal of 2 million Ink – and there are goals along the way, so even if the total isn’t reached, there’s still a chance you could get 10 or 15% of your Ink back.
