Crimson Spell vol. 7 by Ayano Yamane (April 2025)
Crimson Spell fans will finally be able to read the conclusion of Ayano Yamane‘s fantasy BL series. SuBLime has been releasing the series since December 2013, but prior to this announcement, the last time SuBLime released a new volume of Crimson Spell was back in July 2019, when they released Vol. 6. Via their X/Twitter feed, SuBLime let fans in on some of the context on licensing this final volume, revealing that this particular volume has had some issues behind the long wait for volume 7.Here’s how SuBLime Manga describes Crimson Spell:
The powerful sorcerer Asterdol has wrenched Vald’s soul out of his body, causing him to split into two—a demon and a spirit! Asterdol intends to merge the human and demon worlds and install demonic Vald as its ruler. It’s now up to Limris, Halvir, and the others to not only stop him, but also merge Vald’s two halves and lift the curse of his magic sword!
Although fans will be delighted to have the last volume of Crimson Spell in their hands, they’ll have to be a little more patient as Vol. 7 releases on April 8, 2025. The volume is priced at $12.99 and is available for preorder.
SuBLime also publishes Ayano Yamane’s Finder series, so if you’re eager for more, check that out, or visit SuBLime’s website to see their calendar of upcoming releases.
