Sony Pictures has dropped the second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day to mark tickets going on sale ahead of the film’s release on July 31.

The trailer features much more of Peter Parker (Tom Holland)’s struggle with his mutating powers, and his ensuing reunion with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), before revealing the return of the Savage Hulk, which is the apparent result of manipulation from our mysterious, mind-manipulating antagonist (whom, if we had to guess, is Sadie Sink‘s still unofficially unidentified character).

There’s also more of his fight with Mac Gargan/Scorpion (Michael Mando), and his reunion with his former friends MJ (Zendaya) and Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), who is interested in unmasking the wall-crawler again. Of further note is Peter visiting the grave of the late Aunt May (portrayed by Marisa Tomei in Holland’s first three solo movies), and a final beat where Spidey employs the power of self-deprecation to mislead his enemies.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, and written by returning Spider-Man film scribes Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers with Justin Kuritzkes (the Zendaya film Challengers, the shelved Sgt. Rock movie). It will be released in two aspect ratios: a 1.90:1 version for flat screens, and a 2.39:1 one for scope screens. The press release claims, “This innovative approach fills the screen more completely and showcases every frame as intended in every auditorium, creating a bigger, more immersive Spider-Man experience for audiences everywhere.”

Additionally, Fandango released a 16-minute interview with Holland, Zendaya, Sink, and Batalon discussing the film to further mark tickets going on sale. You can also check out a whole host of new posters for the movie at IMP Awards.
