Dynamite’s Space Ghost comics are showing no signs of stopping. Today, the New Jersey-based publisher unveiled details for Space Ghost Annual #2, the second such standalone story set in the ongoing story from David Pepose and Jonathan Lau. As the production house explains, it’s set to serve as a capstone for Space Ghost “Season Two,” or the past dozen issues of Dynamite’s second volume featuring the character.

Though exact details remain scarce so as to avoid story-ruining spoilers, Dynamite says the eponymous cosmic hero will be reeling from loss when he comes toe-to-toe with the thieving Magnus and his reality-warping partner.’

“The Hanna-Barbera Universe is about to get a whole lot bigger in the pages of Space Ghost,” Pepose says of the story. “It’s been such an incredible gift to work on the galaxy’s greatest superheroes with my amazing collaborators Jonathan Lau, Andrew Dalhouse, and Taylor Esposito — and we’re only just getting started! We are truly grateful for all the incredible support of the readers, retailers, and press who have championed our run from the very beginning — with Space Ghost Annual #2, we’re wrapping up our second year with action, excitement, and heart, setting the stage for more exciting Space Ghost adventures to come!”
