Unable to attend NYCC and have to miss out on today’s World Premiere of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, the latest DC Comics animated feature? Fear not, for the movie comes out on Digital tomorrow, October 5. If you enjoyed the clip released earlier this week, take a look at a new Wonder Woman: Bloodlines clip featuring the Silver Swan, Wonder Woman’s on-the-ground (and air) adversary in the film, voiced by Marie Avgeropoulos.
Avgeropoulos will join castmates Rosario Dawson (Wonder Woman), Adrienne C. Moore (Etta Candy), Mozhan Marno (Dr. Cyber) and Courtenay Taylor (Dr. Poison) at the World Premiere of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines this Friday, October 4 at New York Comic Con. Premiere will commence at 7:45pm, followed by a panel discussion amongst cast and filmmakers James Tucker (executive producer), Sam Liu (producer/co-director), Justin Copeland (co-director) and Mairghread Scott (screenwriter).
Silver Swan a.k.a. Vanessa Kapetelis first appeared in comic creator’s George Pérez acclaimed relaunch of the Wonder Woman title as a friend of Diana, developing a sister-like bond. Eventually, through the machinations of several villains, Vanessa was transformed into the Silver Swan during Phil Jimenez‘s Wonder Woman run, likened by many to Pérez’s time with the character. It should be noted that Bloodlines marks Silver Swan’s debut in animation.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines is the next entry in the popular series of DC Universe Movies. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film arrives – accompanied by the DC Showcase animated short Death, inspired by Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman” – from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting October 5, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, and Blu-ray Combo Pack on October 22, 2019.
The film will have its World Premiere at New York Comic Con on Friday, October 4.
