Weekend Reading 137: Shakespeare.

AVERY KAPLAN: This weekend, most of my reading will probably be the text and dialogue in the new Pokémon game! But, when I’m not striving to catch ‘em all (again), I’ll be working with my Complete Works of William Shakespeare, necessary research for a looming deadline. It’s been a while since I’ve been compelled to add a few more sticky tabs to my long-standing personal copy of the classic to end all classics. Pokémon & Shakespeare? It’s back to basics all around.

Weekend Reading 137: Death of Superman

TAIMUR DAR: My weekly comic pile has been growing so with a light and easygoing weekend before the Thanksgiving break I mean to put a dent into it. At top is the Death of Superman: 30th Anniversary Special one-shot. Other books include Bill & Ted Roll the Dice #4, Young Hellboy: Assault on Castle Death #3, Gold Goblin #1, and TMNT #134.

Weekend Reading 137: Ismyre.

DEAN SIMONS: Health has been getting increasingly wonky lately so I definitely need a rest this weekend. To relax I am revisiting the entire series so far of B. Mure’s fantastic Ismyre series from Avery Hill. I may additionally top it all off with some feelgood cartoon strips of the Charles Schulz Peanuts variety.
