Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the license acquisition of Ultraman by Kazuo Umezz: The Classic Manga Collection, just in time for the franchise’s 60th anniversary celebration. The release will be the first time Ultraman’s first-ever manga appearance will be published in English, introducing Kazuo Umezz’s classic to a whole new audience.
Serialized with the 1966 TV broadcast, the classic sci-fi hit Ultraman by Kazuo Umezz: The Classic Manga Collection features fierce battles with series-popular kaiju and pieces from the original release. Celebrate the 60th anniversary of this fantastic adaptation of everyone’s favorite sci-fi hero by legendary horror author, Kazuo Umezz (The Drifting Classroom, Reptilia)!
Seven Seas will release Ultraman by Kazuo Umezz: The Classic Manga Collection in North America in 2027 in a large-trim hardcover collection, making it the perfect addition to any collector’s shelf. It will retail for $42.99 in the US and will be available wherever books are sold.
