In news that surprised many boys’ love manga fans, Seven Seas announced that NAGAHAMA TO BE, OR NOT TO BE by popular BL manga creator, Scarlet Beriko, has been licensed for simulpub release, to be released in 11 countries/languages (including Seven Seas’ English edition) at the same time as its publication debut date in Japan.

Nagahama to Be, or Not to Be is the latest title from beloved BL author, Scarlet Beriko, to be licensed in English. Their previous works include the ever-popular Jackass!, and Jealousy, both released by SuBLime. This is sure to be a treat for lovers of BL romance!

Nagisa may look like a delinquent, but he’s just a typical teen trying to figure out what to do with his life. Nagisa’s best friend, Issa, already knows what his own passion is: fish! Issa often skips school to work at the Nagahama fish market, and the two boys hang out near the ocean almost every day. When Nagisa suspects that Issa has a girlfriend, it turns his world upside down. Is he in love with his best friend? Could his best friend possibly like him back?

Seven Seas will simulpub the series digitally in English markets starting with Volume 1 in February 2024, and physically in large print format in April 2024. Pricing is set at $14.99 USD & $18.99 CAD for the physical prints. Prices for the digital release have not been announced.
