Seven Seas Entertainment returned with another round of their “Wonderful Wednesdays” to surprise their followers with their first batch of licensing announcements for 2024. In total, Seven Seas announced three new titles, all of which were highly anticipated titles from the fan favorite isekai series, Mushoku Tensei, by Rifujin na Magonote. Obviously, fans of the series were super excited when they heard this news.
Seven Seas is already publishing the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novels and the Mushoku Tensei manga series, so these additional fan books and spin-off novels are a logical addition to their publishing line-up. This fantasy series follows the adventures of a jobless otaku who gets hit by a truck, then finds that he’s been reborn as an infant in a world of swords and sorcery. Armed with knowledge from his past life, he creates a new life as a magical prodigy. The Mushoku Tensei anime series is now streaming on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – A Journey of Two Lifetimes [Special Book] is a special collection of new stories, art, a long form interview, and more including:
- The History of Mushoku Tensei
- The life chronology of Rudeus Greyrat
- “Message of Congratulations”, a special manga from various artists
- A special featured story written by Rifujin na Magonote
The book will be released in August 2024 for $16.99 USA / $20.99 CAN in a large-trim edition. An ebook edition will also be available on digital platforms.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Recollections (Light Novel) – Digital Exclusive
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Recollections (Light Novel) is another one-shot collection, this time available only as a digital exclusive, that includes:
- 32 short stories set during Novels 1-10
- A brand new short story exclusive to this collection
- Cover and color illustration gallery
- Character profiles
- Interview with author Rifujin na Magonote
The book will be released as a digital exclusive in May 2024 for $9.99 USA on digital platforms as part of Seven Seas’ Airship imprint for light novels.
Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation (Light Novel)
Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation (Light Novel) is the new sequel series to the isekai novels. Seven Seas describes the series as follows:
“What happens after an epic finale? The story of the Jobless Reincarnation cast is far from over. Get ready for a bounty of antics and action from the Mushoku Tensei universe as the story continues!”
Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation Vol. 1 will be released in November 2024 for $15.99 USA / $19.99 CAN, with the series available in single editions as part of Seven Seas’ Airship light novel imprint. An ebook edition will also be available (early) on digital platforms.
