This past weekend, Punk Rock Jesus and Tokyo Ghost artist Sean Gordon Murphy announced that he would be exclusively working on Batman titles at DC Comics over the next two years.
For the next two years I’m exclusively working with DC on 2 Batman books: Allstar and one that I’m writing/drawing myself. 1/5

Presently, the artist is slated to work with writer Scott Snyder on Snyder’s latest Batman series, All-Star Batman.
So if you’re planning on reading my Allstar run (the finale), pick up Snyder’s Allstar books NOW. 2/5

Murphy announced that he would also be working on his magnum opus– an Elseworlds Batman story that is tentatively slated to be eight issues long.
The Batman book I’m doing alone will be my DK and my Year 100—an Elseworld-like take on Batman. My attempt at an opus. 3/5

But that won’t start until after Allstar is wrapped up. So if you plan on reading these 14+ issues of SGM Batman, best grab Allstar now. 4/5

Murphy thanked both DC Comics and Scott Snyder for the opportunity to work with the Dark Knight.
Allstar has an amazing talent pool, and I’m honored to be involved. Thanks to both @Ssnyder1835 and @DCComics for the best gig ever! 5/5

Unfortunately, this does mean the end of Murphy’s work on Tokyo Ghost for at least the next two years.
Yes, I wish there was 2 of Me, but there’s not. :) https://t.co/jqwfPYsi6R

But Murphy and all of us are excited for the stories to come.
