SDCC didn’t just give fans of The Good Place a chance to look forward to the show’s fourth and final season but also a chance to look back with a forking funny Season 3 blooper reel.  On Saturday, the cast, crew, and fans of the beloved NBC comedy came together to celebrate and say goodbye with a Season 4 panel. The lineup included creator Michael Shur as well as stars Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto, D’Arcy Carden, Marc Evan Jackson and executive producer Drew Goddard.

With live panel tweets that came to us from our friends at Syfy Wire we now know that star Kristen Bell will be directing an episode this season – her first time directing for the show. “I had so much fun directing you all,” Bell said to her cast members.

Looking at The Good Place blooper reel, that was released on the same day as the panel, it seems that the members of its cast also had fun shooting Season 3  – no wonder the show has such an infectiously warm energy!

Reports from the Indigo Ballroom, courtesy of Tell-Tale TV, said that things got quite emotional – from the creatives on stage to fans in the audience; it’s quite clear that this is a show that will live on in the hearts of its viewers well after it’s off the air.

Don’t disappear into a Janet-like void just yet when it comes to The Good Place! The last season premieres Thursday, September 26th on NBC.
