Days after the first full Avengers: Doomsday trailer was released, Marvel Studios has put several costumes from the movie on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, giving attendees an up-close look at character looks from the upcoming film.
The most recent Doomsday trailer gave us our first look at Robert Downey, Jr. as Doctor Doom and showed the return of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Sam Wilson’s Captain America (Anthony Mackie), the Thunderbolts, the Fantastic Four, Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), and the Black Panther (Letitia Wright), as well as the X-Men from the Fox franchise films.
The trailer also revealed the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, the original Captain America.
At Marvel Studios booth #2329 on the SDCC exhibit floor, attendees can see Sam Wilson’s Captain America costume and vibranium shield; Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova costume; Channing Tatum’s Gambit costume and prop weapon; Chris Hemsworth’s Thor costume and Stormbreaker; Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm FF uniform; and James Marsden’s Cyclops costume.
Also on display is a Latverian witch costume, but the character’s identity has not been confirmed. (Perhaps we’ll learn more during the MCU panel in Hall H on Saturday.)
The costumes of the main heroes are positioned around a display of the Doomsday concept art, designed by the original visual development artist for Marvel Studios, Andy Park. Doomsday is the final film Park worked on as Director of Visual Development before he was laid off with the rest of his team in April.

While it’s interesting to see the Avengers: Doomsday costumes on display, discussion around the film itself has been mixed. The current climate at Disney and Marvel Studios following mass layoffs has made it difficult for fans of the films to get excited about it and the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars, especially after multiple decades of MCU releases, delays, cancelations, and redirects.
