It’s been a few years since Spider-Gwen, the Spider-Woman of Earth-65, has headlined her own ongoing series, though a series of miniseries have kept her front of mind, not to mention her recent co-starring turn in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Marvel’s looking to keep the momentum going, as today during the Women of Marvel panel at San Diego Comic Con the publisher announced Spider-Gwen: On Tour, a new four-issue miniseries set to launch in December. The series comes from the creative team of writer Melissa Flores and artist Enid BalámDavid Nakayama is among the cover artists for the series.

Here’s how Marvel describes Spider-Gwen: On Tour:

TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC!

The Mary Janes are off on a four-city tour as the opening act to one of Earth-65’s biggest rock bands! Gwen has promised the band that this big break will be all about the music. No web-slinging, just drums. But when a mysterious assassin targets the headliner, Gwen begins to wonder how she got this gig in the first place. Featuring new versions of some of your favorite characters!

Spider-Gwen: On Tour is the latest Marvel Comics project for writer Melissa Flores, who made her debut with the publisher as part of 2022’s Women of Marvel one-shot. Flores is the current scribe on BOOM! Studios’s ongoing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, and her previous work includes multiple titles within Image Comics’s Massive-verse of books, including Radiant Pink and The Dead Lucky. It’s the latest Marvel work for artist Enid Balám, who most recently illustrated the five-issue New Mutants: Lethal Legion miniseries with writer Charlie Jane Anders. Balám is no stranger to webslingers, though, having illustrated an Araña story in Edge of Spider-Verse #4 with writer Alex Segura.
