Resident Alien, the sci-fi noir series created by writer Peter Hogan and artist/letterer Steve Parkhouse, wrapped its sixth series, Your Ride’s Here, last year, with a question mark around whether it was the final in the series or if the title would be returning. That question has now been answered, though, as Dark Horse has announced a seventh miniseries, Resident Alien: The Book of Love, set to debut its first of four issues in November.

Here’s how Dark Horse describes Resident Alien: The Book of Love:

The comics that inspired the hit SYFY series continue! As the government agency that was trailing Harry decides to back off, his life in Patience quiets down a little. Harry and Asta grow closer, romance blooms, and guards are let down. Life always has a way of keeping things exciting, and big things can happen in small towns.

The ‘will they or won’t they’ relationship between alien-in-disguise Harry Vanderspiegle and his nurse and friend, Asta Twelvetrees, has been one of the most entertaining parts of the Resident Alien series since its debut a decade ago. Pairing the two characters up finally is an exciting development, and it’s sure to be entertaining to see how their relationship plays out. After all, being in love can be hard enough even when both parties are human.

Check out the cover for the second issue of the series, due out in December, below. Resident Alien: The Book of Love #1 (of 4) is set to arrive in stores and digitally on Wednesday, November 16th.
