A sad story winds down.

  1. Thanks for posting this.
Rich deserves any accolades bestowed upon him for his incredible work over the years.

On top of that…he’s just a genuinely wonderful guy.

That being said…any prayers or thoughts you can send their way would be most appreciated I’m sure.

    Get better soon Traci.

  2. My heart is breaking reading this. Bittersweet, indeed.
My sympathy and prayers goes out to Rich and Traci for strength in what is probably the hardest time in his life.

The love for his wife is award enough but his talent should also be recognized — especially as Rich notes that without his wife’s support he wouldn’t be where he is today.

  3. Hi Heidi,

I can’t thank you and your readers enough for the incredible amount of support, prayers, sympathy, etc. that’s been pouring down on Traci and me. You have been along for this ride since last fall, and I truly appreciate all of your efforts to make our situation known. The amount of love that’s been sent our way has been nothing short of overwhelming, and while I’m rarely at a loss for words (ask anyone who knows me!), my heart is swelling, and my eyes are welling. Thank you, all of you, for all of the kind words directed at me and my family in this intolerably difficult time. The people in this industry, pros and fans alike, are some of the most compassionate I’ve ever encountered. I’m proud to be one of you. Thank you all.

  4. Savor every moment you will have together. Tell each other of your love. You can’t say I love you too many times.
    stay strong.

  5. Rich and Traci deserve all your thoughts and prayers. What lies ahead will be hard but through this dark path I’ve seen a love that is beyond awards, beyond description and leaves the world a better place.

  6. Lost a longtime friend (one year my senior) last week and now I read this.

Comic book spouses are a special breed of person, nourishing us physically and spiritually. I doubt I could handle the same situation with your grace.

    Stay strong, somehow, my friend.
