I’m looking for a ride from NYC down to Bethesda for this weekend’s Small Press Expo. Normally I would have no problem taking public transport, but I am still wearing an Aircast for my sprained ankle, and the idea of going up and down a lot of stairs from the train station to the Metro, etc., while carrying the extra weight of my luggage just doesn’t fill me with glee. I’m going down Friday coming back Sunday, exact times I’m not picky about, but I do have a panel Sunday morning so can’t leave too early. So if anyone has an extra space in the trunk they could spare, I’m be most appreciative. Contact me at the usual email.
I was going to say I could get you halfway there, but I’m only going on Saturday, and you’d still have to get on the train in NYC. Sorry. Hope to see you there nonetheless.
I wish I could help. I wish I could go to that. Good luck.
Why dont you just drive there? You have a drivers license right?
Someone give the lady a ride. Public transport with a busted anything and with luggage is hell.
Been there, done that, glad Dan and Katie Merritt were there to help.
Matt,
I imagine driving with a sprained ankle wouldn’t be very pleasant.
Sorry, I’m leaving Thursday morning!
We’re driving in from the South. Sorry!
Sprained ankle? bahh! Just weave in and out of traffic more.
Sorry H, hope you get there. :(
