Isadora Goes Downtown -– A Multi Media Experience
7pm Exhibit Opening: Original drawings from Isadora Duncan: A Graphic Biography and historic images from the Isadora Duncan Foundation.
7:30pm Slide Show and Dance Performance
Sabrina Jones introduces Isadora with a slide show from the graphic biography.
Lori Belilove of the Isadora Duncan Dance Company and the junior company, The Beliloveables, will perform highlights from Duncan ’s repertory.

Our Author/Editor series brings writers and editors together for conversations about the work and the process of creation. Sabrina Jones has drawn feminist and modern dance pioneer Isadora Duncan in this unique graphic biography. Thomas LeBien is the editor behind Hill and Wang’s graphic nonfiction line, including The 9/11 Report, Ronald Reagan, and Students for a Democratic Society. The author and editor will discuss the challenges and possibilities of graphic nonfiction, with a slideshow accompaniment.
