At today’s Bullpen Bulletins! with Stephen Wacker panel at New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics’s newest Editor-in-Chief announced a handful of titles set to arrive in stores in early 2027. Among the newly-announced titles are a new Captain Marvel ongoing series from writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Rachael Stott, a five-issue X-Men: Regulators miniseries from writer Mikki Kendall and artist Georges Jeanty, and the landmark 700th issue of Daredevil from series creative team Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett.

First, the new Captain Marvel series. Here’s how Marvel describes the series, set to launch in May 2027:

Following the cataclysmic events of Avengers: Armageddon, Carol Danvers finds herself grounded like never before. To rise again, Carol will have to challenge everything she thought she knew about being Captain Marvel—and break every rule along the way. And as she pushes herself further, a threat that has been quietly assembling in the shadows of the Marvel Universe for decades is finally ready to make its move.

Captain Marvel marks G. Willow Wilson’s second current ongoing series for Marvel after Black Cat, and she’s written Carol before in the context of team-ups with Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan. It’s the most recent and first major Marvel work for Rachael Stott, whose previous work includes a number of one-shot stories in books like Captain America and Marvel Zombies: Black, White, and Blood and a 5-issue stint as artist on Fantastic Four back in 2022.

Along with Captain Marvel, Wacker previewed a handful of other titles coming in early 2027. Among them were a trio of X-titles, including the February launch of the aforementioned X-Men: Regulators from Kendall and Jeanty:

From their debut in the pages of last year’s Uncanny X-Men Annual comes an all-new Regulators adventure from writer Mikki Kendall and artist Georges Jeanty. But a new threat–in an alluring guise–has emerged in the bayou, and her machinations will spell disaster in X-MEN: REGULATORS.

Also previewed were forthcoming issues of Fantastic Four from writer Ryan North and artist Ramon Rosanas. Two issues of Daredevil from Phillips and Garbett were also mentioned, including a tease for the March-shipping Daredevil #700.

The Fantastic Four have encountered extremely powerful extradimensional aliens who can see all of our universe at once and who have been making brutal changes to it to ensure their survival. But even these mighty creatures have things they fear — things that can destroy them with a thought…and they sent the Fantastic Four straight to them. Lost in higher dimensions, encountering things their brains never evolved to process, it’ll take everything the FF has to survive — but things only get stranger when these creatures are discovered to be something no one in the family expected. The Fantastic Four’s dimension-hopping adventure concludes with an ending that spans the universe itself!
