Marvel is no stranger to cryptic teasers to promote their latest events. They’ve done it with last year’s Imperial and this year’s Avengers: Armageddon. So it’s no surprise that coming out of NYCC ’26 are the words “This June… Tomorrow is one day away! Save the date… Because no one is promised the future” accompanied by the following image

That’s all. Something is happening in June of next year. No more information about it and nothing that explains what any of that sentence means. The phrases “Tomorrow is one day away!” and “No one is promised the future” hint at something possibly ominous.
That however won’t stop us here at The Beat from using our elite skills to attempt to parse what these scant few words could possibly mean. Potential guesses as to what’s coming:
- Another sequel to One More Day!
- A line wide event featuring the Children of Tomorrow?
- The return of Zarrko the Tomorrow Man!
- The company will exist for only more day in June?
- We learn Wolverine is a huge fan of the song ‘Tomorrow” from Annie and this breaks up the X-Men. Again.
- Kang?
- Marvel has acquired the license to beloved cult British children’s show The Tomorrow People, who will now become characters in the Marvel Universe.
- It will shake the foundations of the Marvel universe as we know it!!!
As always, anything is on the table. This will be one of the first events under the Stephen Wacker era of Marvel. So there are eyes on this event and how this will set the tone for his tenure. Whatever this event (assuming it IS an event?) leads into, we’ll find out in June!
Stay tuned to The Beat for more news from NYCC ’26.

A Marvel Event? No thank you
Every comic published that month takes place in the same twenty-four hour period?
(Oh, has that been done already? The thing with the souls of all the dead folks coming back for a conversation? Then people got judged Good or Bad?)
It’s the date Marvel stops printing actual comics, and moves over to digital-only?
