It’s never too early to start thinking about New York Comic Con. And ReedPOP has revealed a bunch of information about this year’s show, including the presale date for tickets: Wednesday, June 26. This follows presales for Popverse Superfans on Wednesday, June 5 and fans who rolled over their Fan Verification accounts on Sunday, June 9. This year’s con will be held October 17-20 at  the Javits Center, a bit later than usual. While getting a ticket is not quite as arduous as the SDCC process, you’ll definitely want to circle the on-sale date, as tickets sell out very quickly. 

And as we noted last year, don’t sleep on hotels either! 

A preliminary guest list for NYCC has also been released, including many media stars, and comics notables:  Josh Brolin (everything)Jodie Whittaker (Doctor WhoAttack the Block); House of the Dragon stars Matt Smith and Tom Glynn CarneyMarisa Tomei (Spider-Man: No Way HomeMy Cousin Vinny); Clerks duo Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes; cast members from fan-favorite films and TV series Starship TroopersShameless, and Futurama; All Elite Wrestling wrestler Samoa Joe; YouTube stars JackSepticEyeLaurenZside, and the hosts of Drawfee; and comic and literary legends including Tegan Quin and Sara QuinAmanda Conner, James Tynion IV, Tomi Adeyemi, Jeff Lemire, Grady Hendrix, Jimmy Palmiotti, R.A. Salvatore, Scott Snyder, Olivie Blake, Art Adams, and Chip Zdarsky.

Several media partners were also announced: Abrams, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Crunchyroll, Capcom, eBay, Funko, FX, Mad Cave Studios, Penguin RandomHouse, Scholastic, VIZ, and more. 

More information will be available as the weeks pass at, including details on photo opportunities, autographing sessions, and panels.

If you’re still looking to have you say on the stage, applications for panel programming is open now through August 8.

Artist Alley is open until June 10. Apply

Writers Block is open until June 21. Apply.
Press registration is open until October 10. Apply.
Pro registration is open – it’s free for Thursday (Pro Day) but $115 for all four days. Apply.
Content Creator registration is open, and you need 250,000 followers across your socials to apply, but some very cool people will be considered based on their coolness. I guess the don’t need to pay $115 for four days? Let the grumbling begin.
All of these should apply before May 20th to beat the Fan Verification entries.
You can also apply to be a Partner, which is for “organizations and individuals pitching programming that requires an exhibiting or tabling space.” Applications are open until July 12.
If you’re like us, you’re still figuring out your SDCC plans, but NYCC will be looming in the headlights before you know it, so get cracking!
