Valiant have announced that the creative team of Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright will be returning to the Quantum and Woody property in 2014 for a new miniseries, which picks up from their original run with the characters.
Set in the same continuity as their previous run with the characters, the miniseries will pick up in the present day, with the pair aged accordingly. Called Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody, this series is a huge development for Valiant – and represents a return to comics for Christopher Priest, as well as a return to monthly work from Mark Bright.
Priest said of the new book:
Soon as Doc and I started hashing out the plotline, we got into a huge argument. It was just like old times. Happy to be back on the goat.
Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody is a five issue miniseries, scheduled for 2014.
