For Batman fans, it’s the most anticipated game of the year, Batman: Arkham Knight is just a few short months away and shortly after that gamers will get to explore the origin of the game’s title villain. In July, DC Comics will publish a six-issue mini series, Batman: Arkham Knight Genesis .
The series will be written by current Arkham Knight comic writer Peter Tomasi with art by Alisson Borges. We know so little about the character outside of his militant look and hard on for killing Batman. From what we’ve seen in trailers, the game sees the character team up with the Scarecrow in order to carry out their nefarious plans against Gotham City.
With the announcement of this comic series, it could be taken into account that while we’re sure to find out who’s under the mask in the game; we may not get to know the full motivations of the character over the course of the game. So far, all the Arkham series games have been superbly told stories. There’s no indication from what we’ve all seen so far from Arkham Knight that would make us think it won’t be the case here.
Batman: Arkham Knight the game will be out for PS4, XB1, and PC June 23 2105. Batman: Arkham Knight Genesis #1 will be in comic stores and digital July 27.

I was looking forward to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. I thought it would be out this year, not in 90 years from now. 90 years from now, I’ll be too busy being dead to play the game. Check out the release year in the article.
