Back in 2012, Marvel made headlines with the same-sex wedding of mutant Northstar and Kyle Jinadu. More than a decade later, wedding bells are in the air once again as readers will witness the secret wedding of fan-favorite mutants Mystique and Destiny as their renew their vows in the upcoming Marvel’s Voices: Pride one-shot entitled X-Men The Wedding Special.

Sporting a cover by Jan Bazaldua, this Mystique and Destiny story will be penned by current X-Men architect Kieron Gillen. The one-shot will feature stories from other writers including Tini Howard, Wyatt Kennedy, Tate Brombal, and Yoon Ha Lee.

Like previous installments of MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE, X-MEN: THE WEDDING SPECIAL will also feature an incredible lineup of stories written and drawn by LGBTQIA+ talent, including Tini Howard and Wyatt Kennedy, plus the Marvel Comics debuts of acclaimed writers Tate Brombal (House of Slaughter) and Yoon Ha Lee (Ninefox Gambit, Machineries of Empire)! The stories will spotlight characters like Betsy Braddock & Rachel Summers, Loki, and many more.

Look for X-Men: The Wedding Special #1 to arrive in stores and digitally on Wednesday, May 29th.
