UDON Entertainment made a surprise announcement that Yuki Kanamaru, the mangaka behind their recently licensed More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, will be UDON’s featured guest at Anime Expo 2024, where she will be participating in a ticketed autograph session at UDON’s AX2024 booth. As an added bonus for this announcement, UDON revealed that they will be selling limited special variant cover editions of the manga’s first volume, which is a 2-in-1 omnibus, of the series at the convention, as well as exclusive can badges.

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers is the story of two high schoolers, Jiro and Akari, who are paired together in their high school’s “marriage practical” class. They need to work together and find a way to get along so they may both gain the top reward of being able to choose their actual crushes as their new partners.

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers saw a major spike in popularity during the Fall 2022 anime season, thanks to its highly rated and successful anime adaptation. The pairing of Jiro and Akari rose to the very top of Anime Trending’s “Ships Chart” for that season.
