Today The Beat has an exclusive preview of Miles to Go #3, the (relatively) new book from AfterShock Comics that deals (quite entertainingly) with assassins, ghosts from the past, and what happens at the intersection of the two.

In today’s preview of the book, we see the start of an issue which sees the older man character — Moses — passing through his hometown, and finding as one does that the more that has changed, the more that seems to have stayed the same. The artwork in these pages, as with the rest of the book, is by Stephen Molnar, and it does a fantastic job of mixing up chronology to show us exactly what Moses is thinking and feeling.

You can see The Beat’s exclusive preview pages from Miles to Go #3, right after the book’s solicitation info. The book is out Dec. 23. Enjoy!

Barely escaping an ambush at home, Amara and Alea regain their bearings in a small town that holds deeplypersonalrevelations for their partner on the run, aging hitman Moses Graves. It should come as no surprise that the defining experience of Moses’s earlier life came complete with betrayal, lies and murder, the repercussions of which haunt everyone involved to this day.
