As Marvel has ramped up their new releases following the end of the Diamond shutdown, quite a few previously-solicited titles were left off of the schedule, with a few titles making the switch to digital-only release. At the time, it was said those digital-only titles would only be available in print as part of collected editions. Now Marvel has announced that those series will in fact be coming back to print as single issues — and sooner rather than later.

In an announcement to retailers today, Marvel revealed new preorder cut-off and in-store dates for single-issue print editions of Ant-Man, Ghost-Spider, Hawkeye: Free Fall, and other titles that had previously made the switch to digital-only. The titles will begin to appear in stores again in August, with pre-order cutoff dates beginning early next week.

Here’s the full updated release schedule for the print editions of those Marvel single issues:

Based on the note accompanying the Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider listing, it looks like the other titles likely won’t include digital codes.

The news of print single-issues for these series will likely please some fans who opted not to pick up the digital editions of those titles when they were released, though it will likely irk those who did make the jump to digital under the assumption that they had no other choice if they wanted to keep up with the series.

Pre-orders for Ant-Man #4, Avengers of the Wasteland #4, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Black Cat Strikes #4 are due by next Monday, so let your retailers know ASAP to be sure you don’t miss those or any of the other titles returning to print.
