Graphic Novelist Marisa Marchetto receives New York’s ultimate social accolade with a mention on Page Six of her breast cancer comics memoir, CANCER VIXEN:
MARISA Marchetto, a top cartoonist for The New Yorker and Glamour, has proclaimed herself one of Page Six’s biggest fans. In a “10 Things That Make Me Happy” feature in women’s shopping magazine Domino, Marchetto gushes, “I read this New York Post column as soon as it comes out . . . In the wacky world of gossip, editor Richard Johnson is a standout.” Marchetto deserves to be happy. The sexy blond doodler has bravely battled breast cancer, as detailed in her new graphic novel, “Cancer Vixen.”
