March Book Three, the inspiring story of the US civil rights movement and the life of Rep. John Lewis, continues its awards season progress as it was named a finalist in the Young People’s Literature category. It’s only the fourth graphic novel to be nominated for this prestigious award, but yet another triumph for this book.
What will Lewis collaborators Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell be doing as a follow up? That’s the real question! Lewis has a lot more life to be told so maybe even more? Or something else that’s civically minded? OR somethign different entirely! What would you LIKE to see them do? Sound off in the comments!
A well-deserved honor! I’d like a continuation of the story of Lewis through his years in Congress and how to be a social activist. That would be ahmazink!
