Magnetic-Con, the Magnetic Press virtual convention booth returns for its third year as the publisher celebrates 10 years in the industry. Hosted on Backerkit, it will take place as part of the platform’s Comictopia 2024 event which runs from July 18 to August 8.
Magnetic-Con is an annual time-limited online marketplace which sees special edition merchandise and the publisher’s trademark hardcover books at steep discounts. As in previous years, Magnetic-Con features an exclusive 64-page annual with artist galleries, original comics, interviews, tabletop gaming material, and a preview of what’s to come in the months ahead. The 2024 annual will feature a cover by Karl Kerschl.
According to Magnetic Press,

Formed by writer, editor, and former Archaia Entertainment publisher Mike Kennedy, Magnetic Press has become a vital access point for English-translated material from Europe and around the world. In 2021 it expanded its offerings to include a tabletop role playing imprint, Magnetic Press Play – the most recent release being a Planet of the Apes RPG.
