Southern California’s newest LGBTQ+ comic convention will be taking place in West Hollywood on June 18th, 2022, and not only does it feature a lineup of exciting creators who are scheduled to appear, the event will be free to attend!

“Q Con – A Comic Convention Celebrating LGBTQ+ Comics and Graphic Novels” will take place from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm. The event will be located at Fiesta Hall at Plummer Park. You can either register in advance through Eventbrite, or simply obtain your free tickets at the door.

In addition to meeting creators and mixing with other comics fans, cosplay is encouraged and the Q Con Costume Contest promises not only fun but also prizes!

Q Con debuts summer 2022

Q Con is part of the City of West Hollywood’s WeHo Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival, which is currently underway, taking place from May 22nd, 2022 through June 30th. Q Con is supported by a grant from the City’s Arts Division, as well as Community Sponsors including the Los Angeles Film School, Tapas, and TOKYOPOP.

According to the official press release from Prism, the event will be in compliance with City of West Hollywood COVID safety protocols, which include presenting proof of vaccination and may include the a mask wearing requirement.
