Back in 2021, comic creator Jeff Smith launched a wildly-successful Kickstarter campaign to publish two graphic novel volumes of Tuki, his most recent fiction series chronicling the adventures of early man. Today the acclaimed and prolific creator announced he’s hitting the road for “Dawn of Man,” the first national tour for Smith and his publishing company in years.

Traveling along Old Route 66, the highway immortalized in song, Smith will be signing and doing a special presentation at every stop. In addition, Cartoon Books will be launching a tour podcast during the April leg of the Route 66 road trip.

Check out the schedule for the Dawn of Man national tour and keep your eyes peeled for updates.
