The Beat had the pleasure of chatting with the incredible talent of the breakout hit series, Cobra Kai! Mary Mouser and Xolo Maridueña talk about the fourth season of The Karate Kid film’s direct sequel.
In this martial arts dramedy, we start the series with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) all grown up, but still at odds in many ways. Now into season four, the two characters have gained some respect for each other and even found some common ground, but their most important job is raising up the next generation of karate champions. Maridueña plays Miguel, Johnny’s first student in the ways of Cobra Kai. Mouser plays Samantha, daughter of Daniel, looking to forge her own path. Miguel and Sam are now dating and find themselves in complex situations all throughout season four.
