Happy International Tabletop Day!

Now in its seventh year, International Tabletop Day is dedicated to celebrating board games and the communities they help to inspire and create. Created by the fine folks at Geek & Sundry, ITTD asks gamers across the world to unite, play, and have fun. Today, hundreds-of-thousands of gamers will gather at their local game stores or host their own community events to share in the unique joy of board gaming.

Still have no idea what I’m talking about? Check out this trailer:

International Tabletop Day is all about giving back to one another and our communities. Sure it’s also about laughing and having a ridiculously good time, but it’s also a lot more. Every year Geek and Sundry chooses an organization to help raise money and awareness for. This year the team at G&S will be raising money for the organization Charity:Water. It’s a non-profit dedicated to providing people with access to clean, safe drinking water.

To join in on the party and find out how you can donate to Charity:Water, check out Geek and Sundry’s marathon live stream, beginning at 9am PT on April 28, 2018, at twitch.tv/geekandsundry.

Here’s a peak at this year’s schedule:

So grab a game, rally your friends new and old, and get ready to make some memories.

If you want some more information about ITTD you can check out Geek and Sundry’s website for a great overview of what it’s all about.
