The Beat had the pleasure of chatting with the supremely talented Ann Harada about her role in the upcoming musical tv show, Schmigadoon!
A musical comedy unlike no other produced by a dynamic team, including TV veteran Lorne Michaels, Schmigadoon! is a magical town steeped in townspeople who are no short of love, judgment, secrets, and more. Harada plays “Florence Menlove,” a well-meaning and thoughtful woman, who’s husband is the Mayor (Alan Cumming). Through song and dance, the “Menlove’s” find out more about themselves, push beyond secrets to live in their truths, and even help Schmigadoon newcomers Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan-Michael Key), find their way back to each other!
