[It looks like]On May 16 of this year, Supergirl, Atrocious, Dead Shot, Blue Beatle and a ton of fan favorite DC Comics icons enter the fight for round two. Injustice 2 will be available on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 with rumors circling about a possible Nintendo Switch version as well. We haven’t seen much of the game after the initial announcement buzz as the developer went quite in order to complete and refine many of the character models fans were less than impressed with at reveal. From the slivers we’ve seen, the studio has made some pivotal improvements on the aesthetics.  Just take a look at these Supergirl comparisons.

With the game’s official launch set for just a few months away, we should also be getting more details about the new Injustice comic series to be written by the man who penned some of that universe’s best moments in the original digital comics, Tom Taylor.

UPDATE: We’ve reached out to WB in order to get a confirmation, but they have yet to respond to any outlet. Some have speculated that it could be an announcement date for the actual release announcement, being close to E3. However, that would seem unlikely as it’s a month before the show and with Capcom’s Marvel brawler releasing later this year, it would make sense for WB to get this out as soon as possible ensure the game a market share lead. We’ll update again with the official word when WB wants to put an end to all this debate.
