§ Superhero division: Maxim presents 12 Superheroes Who Should Be On ’70s Vans, which, considering that several of these characters were created at a time when van art was an influence is a little Moebius strip for our tastes, but has Photoshop ever been used for a better purpose?
§ Indie Division: We’re very late on this, but The Daily Cross Hatch’s Indie Costume Contest Winners are too epic to ignore, esp. this Matt Furie-inspired Landwolf.

If you look in the back window, do you see scenes from the TV movie?
(And they couldn’t take the time to Photoshop in one of the Dr. Strange logos from the comic books?)
That Maxim link is great…they gave a shout out to Brute Force! I remember purchasing that mini-series back in the day, and enjoying it.
Maxim? Cracked.com is on the phone. They want their writing style back.
(Ok, the “Immigrant Song” gag is pretty damn hilarious…)
the van thing is one of the funniest things, yet ending, creepilly! o.O That I’ve seen in a long time from them!
as someone who used to party and ride around in vans like those back in the 70’s and early 80’s , i’m really surprised that none of us thought of airbrushing one of those characters on one of the vans. too busy with pink floyd’s “dark side of the moon” and “led zep I” paint jobs, i suppose. too funny!
