IDW today announced the official lineup for the upcoming Star Trek 60th Anniversary Special one-shot, and it’s a suitable celebration of six decades of the best sci-fi Franchise to ever grace our TV screens. Featuring stories from across the history of the Franchise by some very impressive creators, you’re going to want to talk to your Local Comic Shop (LCS) about reserving your copy before the Final Order Cutoff (FOC) date of July 27th, 2026.

Star Trek 60th Anniversary Special

Here’s what you can expect from the Star Trek 60th Anniversary Special:

  • A Sulu story by writer Brian Michael Bendis (in his first time writing a Trek comic story) & artist Michael Gaydos
  • A Harry Mudd story by writer David Gerrold (“The Trouble with Tribbles”) & artist JP Buzio
  • A Lower Decks story set after the series finale by writer Mike McMahan & artists Mike & Laura Allred
  • A Star Trek #1 relaunch prelude story by writer Christopher Cantwell & artist Isaac Sanchez
  • A Star Trek: The Animated Series story by writer Ryan North & artist Derek Charm
  • A Worf story by writer David Walker & the Escorza Brothers
  • An Enterprise one-pager gag by writer-artist Chris Fenoglio
  • A Star Trek: The Original Series Scotty story by writer Dana Gould & artist Megan Levens
  • A Star Trek: Next Generation Beverly Crusher & Picard story by writer Dave Baker & artist Nicole Goux
  • A Star Trek: Starfleet Academy story by writer Meghan Camarena & artists Mari Rolins, JP Jordan

The Star Trek 60th Anniversary Special will come in at 68 pages and retail for $8.99. The one-shot will arrive just in time for the actual anniversary of the series, on September 2nd, 2026.
