Everything Everywhere All At Once, Better Call Saul, and Star Wars television scored big at last night’s 2022 Saturn Awards. Although it was the 47th edition of the awards themselves, this year also marked the fiftieth year of the Saturn Awards’ existence.

In the very busy Saturn 2022 movie category, Everything Everywhere All At Once took home the most awards, including Best Fantasy Movie, Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), and Best 4K Special Edition Home Release.

2022 Saturn
Spider-Man: No Way Home took home the Best Superhero Movie Award at the 2022 Saturn Awards

Although Spider-Man: No Way Home came out top in the Superhero Film category at the 2022 Saturn Awards, The Batman scooped up two awards in Best Direction (Matt Reeves) and Best Film Costume, making it the most awarded superhero movie this year.

In TV, Better Call Saul – which aired its final season this year – dominated the Saturn 2022 Network/Cable category with four awards plus a special award to the whole cast. Superheroes and comics adaptations definitely had appearances with two awards to the Walking Dead and individual awards to Loki, Stargirl, Ms. Marvel, Superman & Lois, The Boys, Moon Knight, and Umbrella Academy across TV Network/Cable and TV Streaming categories.

2022 Saturn Awards
Moses Ingram took home a 2022 Saturn Award last night – one of three that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series scored

The Star Wars franchise also performed well this year as it accumulated five overall awards, three for Obi-Wan Kenobi (Best Limited Event Series; Moses Ingram, Best Supporting Actress Streaming; Hayden Christensen, Best Guest-Starring Performance) and one apiece for Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Best Animated Series), and Book of Boba Fett (Ming-Na Wen, Best Actress in Streaming Series).
