§ Animator/cartoonist Nina Paley is looking for someone to help scan her old comic strip:
It’s time to copyleft ALL of my old Nina’s Adventures comics! But the thought of digging through all those old drawings, re-scanning them, cleaning them up in Photoshop and uploading them to archive.org, is more than I can bear. That’s why I’m looking for (a) smart, trustworthy, dedicated volunteer(s) in New York to do it for me.
§ Cartoonist Mike Fiffe is looking for the author of EGGY BOO!:
Back in 2003, there was a a website (sent to me by a friend) specifically for “Eggy Boo” (best name ever), in which a brand new strip would be posted every week. If I remember correctly, this lasted for a few months, disappeared for a year, then would reappear once in a while. I started to save my favorite Eggy Boos and thank God I did! That site no longer exists. In fact, there is no mention of this comic strip ever existing. The friend who originally sent it to me doesn’t remember exactly where he heard of it first but it was probably a word of mouth thing.
I just tried a search on the Wayback Machine for http://www.eggyboo.com and got a list of 28 pages from 2003-2006, 17 of them from 2003, which seems appropriate, but the only thing I saw on the pages I tried was a distorted photo of a white-haired man.

Trying the Wayback Machine again, with a different search strategy, yielded what I wanted: all the Web pages present at eggyboo.com. The author of the strip, name present as a header, was listed as Hank De Snow. Here’s the Web page with the search results.
