The holiday season is a time for family, a time for friends, and a time for reckoning with all your sins from the past year. That’s why Dark Horse Comics and Mantic Games are commemorating the yuletide punishment with a new miniature of Krampus, everyone’s favorite half-goat, half-demon child punisher. The limited edition miniature is the latest addition to Dark Horse and Mantic’s Hellboy: The Board Game, and is inspired by 2017’s Krampusnacht one-shot by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and artist Adam Hughes.

The miniature, which comes unpainted and stands roughly 2 3/8″ (6 cm) tall, features the horned beast atop a hutch filled with skulls, ready to cast judgment on the naughty boys and girls of the world. A set of Unexpected Threat cards accompany the miniature, for use with the Hellboy board game.

In a statement, Mantic Games CEO Ronnie Renton elaborated on why Krampus is the perfect gift for the holiday season:

“After doing something nice with last year’s Ho! Ho! Hellboy, this year we definitely wanted to do something naughty,” said Ronnie Renton, Mantic Games CEO. “The Krampus is one of Hellboy’s most disturbing foes and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to add a few chills to the festive season. Making it available in superb quality resin, will ensure we capture the haunting quality of the source material.”

Take a look at a painted sample of the Krampus miniature below. The limited edition Hellboy: The Board Game Krampus miniature will be available to pre-order either from select stores that stock Mantic products or directly from the game-maker, beginning tomorrow, November 1st, through December 25th, with expected shipment in December.
