Grant Morrison models his Member of the British Empire medal which he was just presented with. And no, you cannot call him Sir Grant, as that honorific only comes with the two highest Orders of the British Empire.

But yes, that’s the Palace he’s standing in front of. So yeah, he is officially THE MAN now.

  1. Makes me glad I’m not English. (though heritage -wise I have to admit its present) Something I never got about that culture. Its like aspiring to be a puppy. Does he get a royal set of cups & saucers with that,.

Here people just get rich , famous or become celebrities to be doted upon and write their own rules. Perhaps there something more straightforward about the monarchy….

  2. Isn’t that the organization the Republicans gleefully wiped out in the 90’s before they moved on to poor people without insurance….Must be like getting a Directors Guild Award. Or even better yet, a BAFTA.

  3. Honestly, I don’t know much about him. Except that’s he seems famous in comics, has his own con and England is now proud of that. He could be the Charles Dickens of Lex Luthor look-a-likes for all I know. From the little I read of the preview pages about 80’s style bad Santas, I don’t think that’s the case. But it might be good enough for a BAFTA.
