The company is led by comics greats Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Geoff Johns, Lamont Magee, Francis Manapul, Brad Meltzer, Peter J. Tomasi, and Maytal Zchut. Additional talent is yet to be announced, but all creators will be exclusive to Ghost Machine for their comic work.

Ghost Machine #1

Image Comics will be the comic division’s exclusive publishing partner. The creators will co-own all characters within the four planned universes and share in all publishing, media, merchandise, and beyond. The comics launch schedule will begin with a two-issue prequel series, Geiger: Ground Zero, written by Geoff John with art by Gary Frank. The first issue will begin shipping in November before the official first release from Ghost Machine.

Stores will offer Ghost Machine #1, a 64-page special, in January 2024. The issue will introduce the four shared universes of the Ghost Machine characters: The Unnamed, a mysterious group of heroes across history featuring characters and titles like Geiger, Junkyard Jow, Redcoat, and First Ghost; Rook: Exodus, a sci-fi epic that takes place in the far-off future where nature is controlled by humanity; Family Odysseys, which centers around the Rocketfellers, a family displaced in time and their friends; and an epic horror universe co-created and illustrated by a super-secret comics artist who is currently under contract. Individual series will begin distribution in April 2024.

New York Comic Con attendees can find Ghost Machine on the main floor at booth #3045 hosting signings with the entire creative team from 2 to 3 p.m. daily. Talent will also host signings throughout the convention. All booth guests will receive an exclusive Ghost Machine #1 ashcan with cover art by Frank. The first Ghost Machine panel will take place Friday, October from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. ET.
