Now that con season is officially underway, publishers are releasing more new titles for comics fans the world over. This weekend, Cosmic Lion Productions will debut its newest title at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, and sci-fi fans will definitely want to check it out.
Written and illustrated by Seraji, Fourth Dimensional: Seal Your Heart is the second installment in an ongoing urban sci-fi adventure following a young woman named Ava as she navigates the abrupt introduction of an extra-dimensional fugitive named Mon into her life. When the pair try to unite fugitives of the Fourth Dimension, they quickly discover that not all fugitives have the same plans. With the authorities closing in, the stakes are higher than ever for this unlikely but dynamic duo.
“I’ve been reading and drawing comics since I was a little kid and am forever obsessed with fun stories set in fantastical worlds following engaging characters,” Seraji said in a statement. “Fourth Dimensional is the natural progression of that and brings together everything I love most about the comics medium and storytelling. It’s also a vessel for me to grow as a comic artist. When you read 4D, I hope you witness not only the journey of the characters but also my journey as a creator.”

Seraji crowdfunded Fourth Dimensional Volume 1: Summer of Fun on Kickstarter last fall, raising approximately $4,800 to bring the book to print. Now, in addition to publishing the next installment, Seal Your Heart, Cosmic Lion has also made Summer of Fun available for pre-order.
However, readers who don’t want to wait for their copies can get their hands on both Summer of Fun and Seal Your Heart #1—a 48-page, double-sized issue—at ECCC. Schwab and Seraji will be in Artist Alley from Thursday, February 29 to Sunday, March 3 at Booth I-03. Fans can pick up comics at the booth or check out new Cosmic Lion apparel featuring art by Mark Bodē, Ken Mitchroney, Jay Geldhof, and Cory Bowman.
