Among fall’s many anticipated releases, INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE: CLAUDIA’S STORY is an interesting twist on the graphic novel anticipation. Although Anne Rice’s much-loved vampire classic has been adapted before, in both traditional comics and manga, this book has an interesting twist: it’s told from the viewpoint of Claudia, the tragic child vampire of the novel. Ruse just shared some pages from the book on her Facebook page, and newcomer Ashley Witter has done an impressive job.

  1. Man, that looks pretty sweet, and I’m not into manga (not counting Lone Wolf & Cub). I also LOVE the premise. I enjoyed Anne’s vampire novels and this is a great twist. Should be tasty.

  2. This is gorgeous! I’ll definitely have to get this. So, there are other manga adaptations of Anne Rice? Which ones and where can I get them?

  3. Beautiful art. Not a fan of Anne Rice, and I’m not as much into manga art as I used to be, and yet this is strangely appealing to me. I probably would have never heard about this book if you had not posted this article, but now I’m eagerly waiting for it. :)
