Season 4 of Invincible may have ended last week, but excitement for the superhero franchise still continues in other media such as comics and the recent Invincible VS video game. In fact, Thrilljoy has announced that fan favorite Invincible character Damien Darkblood to its PIX! line, and The Beat has all the details.
Retailing for $20, this limited edition Damien Darkblood PIX! figure will be available to order online order online at thrilljoy.com on May 22 at 8am PT. with a chance for a rare chase variant.
The limited hero edition (7,777 units) PIX! figure features Damien Darkblood with his deep red skin, yellow eyes, and signature outfit. Moreover, The 1 in-6 chase rare variant features a battle-ready variant of Darkblood with his trench coat removed and his helmet on.
Voiced by Clancy Brown in the Invincible animated series, the self-styled “demon detective” took it upon himself to investigate the murder of the Guardians of the Globe team and discovered evidence proving Omni-Man was the culprit only to be exiled back to Hell by Global Defense Agency head Cecil Stedman. Though a minor character in the original comics source material, the animated adaptation has greatly expanded Darkblood’s role. Damien Darkblood returned in the most recent season summoning Invincible to Hell in order to see his aid to restore Satan to his throne in order to stop an even greater threat. Though Darkblood was able to return to Earth, the series teased fans hadn’t seen the last of the demon detective and this Hell storyline was far from over.
