Red AtlantisRed Atlantis #1 is a new comic due out from AfterShock Comics on Nov. 4, and it features a premise that involves the U.S. presidential election turning violent and potentially leading to civil war.

Specifically, a serious of unexplained violent crimes on Election Day itself leads to the FBI zeroing in on Russian terrorists. The star of the book is a journalism student from Texas who accidentally gets mixed up in the investigation. Not only that, but it’s from the stellar creative team of writer Stephanie Phillips (Butcher of Paris, Artemis and the Assassin), artist Robert Carey (Aliens: Resistance, James Bond), colorist Rosh, and letterer Troy Peteri.

It’s all very timely (basically as timely as it could possibly be, if a bit different obviously from the real world), and today The Beat is thrilled to have an exclusive preview courtesy of publisher AfteerShock Comics. You can find four of the interior pages from the book below, after the jump with the solicit information for the new comic.

Enjoy!
