New York Times best-selling author Brandon Sanderson and Dynamite Comics are slated to release White Sand Volume 3 this week, finishing out the trilogy in the Cosmere universe. The scifi/fantasy saga is co-written by Rik Hoskin (Red Rising, Mercy Thompson) and drawn by Fritz Casas (Red Sonja, Miss Fury). Casas’ art is also featured on the cover.
Legendary Sand Masters on Taldain wield magic-like abilities to manipulate sand in incredible ways. Kenton has faced both allies and foes as he has explored and honed his abilities. He has also unearthed hidden secrets, conspiracies, and political intrigue along the way. In this 160-page conclusion, Kenton tries to hold the Sand Masters together as forces political and personal conspire against them. Despite being overwhelmed, Kenton must tap the most dangerous depths of his own abilities to combat the enemies within his own guild and discover the truth behind the ambush that killed his father and almost destroyed the Sand Masters for good.
