It’s a bold new era for the heroes in a half shell from IDW including the perennial foe of the terrapins headlining his own comic series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder. Written by Dan Watters (Lucifer) with art by Michele Bandini (Batman Incorporated), TMNT: Shredder follows Oroku Saki as he begins to rebuild power in New York’s criminal underworld, albeit this time without the support of the Foot Clan.
For TMNT: Shredder #2 out next month, artist Sid Kotain will be drawing a portion of the issue along with Bandini. Ahead of the pre-order deadline this Monday, The Beat is proud to exclusively reveal inked interior pages drawn by Kotain from TMNT: Shredder #2 available on October 15, 2025.
Fans of the current TMNT books likely know that in recent years Shredder has become an ally to the TMNT aiding them against the Rat King during the events of the Armageddon Game event. At the end of the storyline, Shredder was seen residing on Planet Hirobyl in Dimension Z in order to keep watch over Madame Null’s cousin Noi Tai Dar. The circumstances of Shredder’s return to Earth haven’t been fully revealed in the first issue of the new series. With any luck, those details will be explored down the line. In the meantime, readers can enjoy Oroku Saki adjusting to life back home on Earth.
Check out the interior pages along with solicit information and the Cover A by Mateus Santolocuo who also did the new Shredder design.
