Those of you who follow Kyle’s and my regular coverage of DC Comics know that we have absolutely adored Midnighter and Apollo. Steve Orlando’s and Fernando Blanco’s Orphean epic has been a tale of tragedy and heroism; a battle between endless adversity and undying love. This week, Midnighter and Apollo #6 hits store shelves, bringing the mini-series to its culmination as the battered Midnighter finds himself at the feet of Neron, ruler of Hell. Meanwhile, Apollo finds himself lost, wandering the endless realms of the underworld while beleaguered by demons on all sides.

Will these two lovers ever have the opportunity to reunite? Will they be able to escape Hell with their lives? Will they be able to escape at all?

Check out the Comics Beat’s exclusive preview of Midnighter and Apollo #6 after the jump. If you haven’t had the opportunity to read this stunning series yet, you can preorder the trade paperback edition of the mini-series now.
